The
Surgery
Liposuction is performed in our fully equipped surgery center under
intravenous sedation. Small (½ inch) incisions are made near
the treatment area. A thin, hollow tube (cannula) is inserted and attached
to a machine or syringe that creates a vacuum. The cannula is strategically
manipulated under the skin to remove the fatty deposits. The doctor
determines the amount of liposuction needed by feeling and pinching
the skin throughout the surgery.
After
Surgery
Overall results of liposuction will likely be visible within 4-6 weeks,
but the full effect may not be evident for 3-6 months.

surgery center under intravenous sedation. The incisions are placed
behind or at the hairline, running from ear to ear across the top of
the head. The muscles of the forehead are then released and the skin
of the forehead is lifted and trimmed. The wound is closed with a fine
stitch and a head bandage is applied for a few days.
Patients are up and mobile the day following forehead/brow lift surgery.
Patients are advised to take 7-10 days off work after a forehead / brow
lift procedure.
